Description #

Zhajiangmian, the Mandarin pronunciation of this dish, consists of noodles topped with a thick soybean sauce. Although it originated in Shandong, there are popular variations in other regions (notably Beijing, which mixes yellow soybean paste into the sauce), and countries ( Jajangmyeon in Korea, Jajamen in Japan).
